We want to hear from you. Whether a download link stopped working, a description has an error, or you need to send a formal legal notice, this page explains how to reach us and what to include so we can help on the first reply.
Before You Write
Many questions are already answered on the site. If a download link is not working, first reload the software page and click the download button again โ download links are intentionally short-lived and a stale tab can hold an expired one. If the program itself will not install, check the system requirements table on the listing, and confirm that your copy of Windows is fully updated. Our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions cover most questions about data and use of the site.
Reporting a Broken Download Link
Please include the exact page address (the URL in your browser's address bar), the name of the program, and, if you can, the error you saw and the browser you were using. Reports that include the URL are resolved much faster than reports that name only the program.
Reporting an Error or Suggesting a Correction
We take accuracy seriously. If a version number, system requirement, license type, developer name, or screenshot is wrong or out of date, tell us what is incorrect and, when possible, where the correct information can be verified โ the developer's official page is ideal. We will re-check the listing and update it, and we will note the correction on the page.
Requesting Software
Looking for a program we have not covered yet? Use our software request form and tell us the program name, the Windows version you are running, and what you need it to do. Requests are reviewed in batches, and we prioritize titles that are still actively maintained by their developers.
Copyright and Takedown Notices
If you are a rights holder and believe a listing on this site infringes your copyright, please do not use the general contact form. Send a formal notice that follows the requirements in our DMCA policy. A notice that includes the specific URL, a description of the copyrighted work, your contact details, and the required statements of good faith and accuracy will be processed the fastest.
Advertising and Partnerships
We work with a limited number of advertisers and software vendors. If you are interested in a clearly labeled placement, tell us your product, your target audience, and what you are hoping to achieve. Sponsored placements are always marked as sponsored and never change a listing's safety badge or our review conclusions.
Technical Support
File4PC is a directory and does not develop the software listed here. We cannot reset a license key, recover an account, or provide support for a third-party program. For those issues, contact the developer directly โ their support address is usually shown on their official website and in the program's About window.
What to Expect
We aim to reply to every legitimate message within two business days. Legal notices are acknowledged on receipt. Abusive, automated, or repeatedly off-topic messages may be filtered without a reply. Please use the form below so your message reaches the right queue.
